Just pulled the trigger on the new 3200lm low/3600lm high 70w H4 bulbs. not happy about the price, but wanted the brightest I could get without a retrofit and this seems like it. I'll post pics as soon as they are installed.

So these are a version 2 of the original output bulbs or the new 70W ones?

    ---------
Also, anyone know when the new 70W bulbs will ship? The site still says available 8/18 and it is clearly past that.

Yes. Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I get on here when I can. I'm currently deployed so the wifi is spotty at best. Anyway, they have shipped and arrived at my home in the US. I will be back and have them installed by the middle of next month... hopefully.

Will do! If they are as bright as they claim (3000lm) they shouldn't disappoint.

i installed mine last night and they are a night and day difference from the stock halogens. Not that the stock is bad but I can actually see the sides of the road for deer farther off plus they go good with the led fogs i installed :D.

Sorry if I may have missed in previous threads, but is everyone having to cut the rubber boot/cover all to sh*t after you get these led headlights in? If so, some pics of your modification/cuts would be greatly appreciated.
