I'm either going to be selling my 900RR or just getting a new one. Looking at 600RR's. I've always drove larger bikes because I like torque, but I've been learning that 600's are just more nimbly-bimbly and that makes them a lot more fun.

I sold my zx10r. Got a r6. The 600 didnt have enough power for me and the wife. Dont get me wrong it would get up and move and was allot of fun when I was the only one on it. But wasn't enough for both of us. So with that being said my next bike will be a r1. I liked the Yamaha way more then the kawi

Sounds like its time for a motorcycle for her :)

I like having a girl ride on the bike with me and I could see where the 600 wouldn't be good for that. Always wanted to get my wife to ride on my bike with me but she won't.

If either of you guys want to go on a ride and jump on the R1 just give me a shout. I know what it's like to go buy a bike and have that thought in the back of your mind saying "if only I could test ride it".

Yeah I have tried teaching her and she wants her own bike (600) but she is very happy just riding with me right now. Its higher on the priority list for me to get a new bike then for us both right now to get ones. But someday she will have one and be riding.

I'll take you up on that offer!

Not my wife. She's been riding for years on the track/street and is working on getting her race license for her 600RR. She rides a hell of a lot better than me by far. She won't get on the back of a bike because she wants to drive them instead.

Looks like one of the washes next to the 17 broke onto the freeway and there is a wall of water going up the south bound traffic side.

Its on the news and I'm yet to see any hummers stuck in it... Yet

One of the guys at work lives in Black Canyon City and pretty close to the river I think. He left a couple hours ago to check on the family/flooding. But not sure if/when he'll make it. I-17 NB is closed from 303 to Table Mesa Rd last I checked.

It was closed NB at Happy Valley Rd earlier.

Just had a small cell roll thru here in SW Phoenix and had the lot flooded for a bit.
