Just got I my truck on lunch break and it was slow to start (slow as in it took ~3 seconds to fire up, starter sounded like the battery is strong) so I'm gonna replace the fuel filter, but if that doesn't work what should I look into?
It has done this before occasionally, but never this bad, cold or hot doesn't seem to make a difference.

Looks awesome might have to start researching something like that in the near future once I do some other more important upgrades.

:smack: Yeah, I don't see AZ employees on the ground out there these days, but I see loads of dudes crawling around under and over their cars. Same with the O'Reilly's up the street. Funny, you don't see that outside the Toyo dealership! My wait in line times have gone up as some dude discusses how to rebuild the engine (my guess, as the convo isn't in English, but is taking forever) while holding an o-ring in his hand

I've been under my truck in a parking lot :anonymous:

But, I'm small enough so I'm always completely under the truck. I never leave a leg or something sticking out.

I was living with a girl that drove a Corolla. I offered to change her oil. I got the oil pan and a ratchet, walked out to the driveway, had a realization, walked back in the house and told her to take it to Jiffylube and I'd pay for it. It is very nice to have a vehicle I can crawl underneath.

:rofl:I was in Texas on some family business when my Camry took a dump at a stop sign and would choke out and not run without a lot of attention. I replaced the plugs and cleaned the throttle body (fixed that problem) but was looking for the fuel filter. Can't crawl under that bad boy either. The only ramps my family had there were some monster steel ones that were so sloped I couldn't drive up on them! There is something to having that natural crawl space under the Taco!

Run some fuel cleaner through a full tank. Injectors might be clogged a bit.

    This.

My GF wants me to change her oil on her Altima. I don't even think I could squeeze my head under her rocker panels (hey yo!)

Not the battery or connections, I don't think it's electrical.

Done that twice in the last 2K miles, Dad has a habit of randomly dumping the injector cleaner in the vehicles.

James, I know you're out there! And anyone else reading this...

What should the timing be through the power band on a v6? I'm tuning my truck again and I see that at low rpm boosting I'm at 16-18 degrees, but higher rpm I'm around 13 degrees. I ping at low rpm, which is likely because my timing advance is too high.

So my question is where should I be timing-wise? I didn't check what my timing was naturally aspirated, which would have helped.

What the hell do I need ramps for. I got 18 inches of frame clearance. ;) :D

PS: just got done changing the erl, speaking of such things. 130k on the odometer and the stuff coming out the engine was nice and clean.

Changed the fuel filter, perfectly clean fuel coming from both ends so we'll see if it helps.
If I have no more issues lower ball joints will be up next (Might as well upgrade to CO's at the same time), then a coolant flush, brake flush, power steering flush and timing belt/water pump.
