These look awesome! Just got the Ls460's in the truck. Waiting to get some good shots and will post up here. Quick question though. I have the halos wired to a switch and inline fuse. I was trying the add a circuit route by tapping into the dome light fuse under the hood. Tried all the way up to 15 amp fuses and it blew every one of them. Is there an easier way to wire them to have power at all times? Considered the parking light method with a switch so i could still turn them off but i would really like the option of turning them off and on at any time.

Sure thing! I'm not a fan of adding circuits, so if you want switched power, I would take it from the relay panel under the hood. Each halo only takes about 500mA, so under an amp between the two. If you convert the fogs to LED you're lessening the load on that circuit and you can then wire the halos right up without any issues ever.

Sure can since the headlight mounts are nearly identical. I have a set for a 2010 (I believe) in queue for a retrofit as we speak.

Truck looks great. Likin the little stripes on grill and those wheels go really good with what you have going on there. Really clean looking. Lights look really good too.

Was just curious about that comment. I have a friend out of town who would like me to retrofit his headlights and he has a 2011 whereas my truck is a 2014. Would I actually be able to install 2011 headlights in a 2014 truck and reliably tune and aim the headlights?

Just curious because at this point I told him I would need him to bring the truck to me in order to do it. Didn't even think that they may mount up the same.

Short answer is no. You can mount 2012-2015 lights on a 2005-2011 but not the other way around.

From the swap threads, it definitely looks doable.

It's doable if you remove parts of the bumper support that hole the existing headlight. I'm saying from a stand point of not changing anything - some parts will interfere with the fit.

I'll agree there. It won't be a direct swap, but it can be done.

Do you happen to know if I was to remove any obstructions and get a pair of 2011 headlights in a 2014 truck if that would serve as an accurate platform to dial in the rotation and aim of the headlights?

Can you post up some pictures of the high beams? I know you said you modify the shield to get a taller beam. If it's posted on hidplanet you can just throw up a link.
