SnowPeak 600s? Is that enough cup for 2 meals or do you just refill and reheat? Also what tent? Looks legit

You can lay more diagonal which will let you lay flat instead of banana shaped. I dunno how wide you are at the shoulder (assuming that is your widest point), but check the dimensions. If you buy at REI you can setup and try before you buy. They're cheap enough, you could even buy both and return the one you don't want.

I can't tell if that's a Sumo cup. Sure looks like a fat pot.

    Backcountry.com
    Moosejaw.com
    gearbuyer.com
    Amazon

Top 2 I've used many times and love the customer service. Amazon is Amazon, someone mentioned gearbuyer on page 1 or 2 and liked them also.

Must be as old as when Arctery'x was still made in Canada! Great tent.

Bangladesh or Indonesia or some damn place, I don't recall where mine was from that I bought last year. I returned it because the fit wasn't what I needed, but one of those textile mill countries. Next time I'm at an REI I'll post the country of manufacture. It was a $450 rain jacket. I'd pay that for quality US or Canada gear, but really disappointed when I saw the tag. They have outsourced for several years, and still market strongly they're Canadian

Pretty much a bummer. I like supporting the smaller companies and the north american companies. Western Mountaineering is made 2 hrs south of me, and Marmot is maybe 15 minutes away.

That sucks! I love my Marmot stuff. My pack and tent are REI and they've been excellent also. Pads and quilt from Thermarest, same story. I've been lucky with my gear, minus the Arctery'x jacket.

Ive seen people buy cheap crap and have a miserable experience and never want to try it again just because they saved a few bucks. Ultralight gear is the only way to go, all my Packs are Osprey, all bags are Down filled from WM except a few summer bags from Marmot that are also down. tents from Bibler MSR and NF
