it offered UCAs and LCAs. No it was not Total Chaos, this was about 2 years ago I saw this setup floating around. Looked like a good kit, but I have never seen anybody running it. You did not need glass fenders either, but I am sure they would be handy.

Does anybody have a clue what I am talking about I know I am not crazy, well at least in this instance.

as stated above, it must be the allpro kit. There are a few guys over on TTORA that are running it and love it. It looks good too.

^ nope your wrong, the allpro kit was not even out when the kit was hitting the boards, i remember they listed their kit on egay as well for like 3500 or something....

EDIT: http://www.pure-performance.biz/ is the site, but the kit no longer appears to be there. i remember it was something like the 5.0 x factor system or something...

EDIT 2: here is the thread bout it on CT...yea see how guys stated it is nearly 4k like i said...

TO be honest I don't think it was that one either. Get it right Yosh I said it had lower arms as well. The posts on the kit I am talking about would be older than 1 year. Who the hell knows maybe i am crazy.

I don't know as I think about it that may be it, I do remember somethign about a 4 link.

i am right, that post is nearly 2 years old (posted Jan 08, some 21 months ago...about 2 years), and if you noticed post 21 it talks about a 4 link. that is 2 of the 3 things you remember about this kit, maybe your mistaken about the LCAs...or your just crazy (you said it!)

if you truely remember lower arms, then it hasnt been 2 years ago when you saw it as the kits that come w/ LCAs are the camburg, TC, all-pro, engage kits...and all those are LT kits, not midtravel kits. what does midtravel mean anyways, OEM is what like 7", LT is 12" (IIRC), so your looking for a kit w/ 10" travel?

Id assume that by mid travel hes meaning that its not a kit that makes the truck as wide as a bus. i.e. 4" wider per side like the camburg, tc and engage. The only kit that i ever remember being called a mid travel kit was the AP which extends 2" per side and has 12" of travel.

yes and no...you need to be wider in order to be able to get the travel, therefore a midtravel kit would not have to be wider as it would not have to achieve the 13" or so travel of a true LT kit.

I believe it was the "rock crawler" kit mentioned above.

then how would you define a mid travel kit? coilovers? Its hard to say that a midtravel kit would not have to be wider when no one has even established or defined what a "mid travel" kit is.... even you said you didnt know what a mid travel kit is.

I had the disclaimer in my statement that i was "assuming" the allpro kit is what he was talking about.... i was not stating fact since i really dont know what kit the dude truely is talking about.

mid travel kit would be defined as ~10" travel as OEM is ~7" and true LT kits for our trucks are ~13". i would think it would have to be a little wider in order to get the travel in the envelope engineers would have to work with, but it would not have to be the ~3-4" wider like the TC, camburg and engage kits...its simple geometry

The AP kit has only a 2" wider track width per side however still gives 12" of travel. My guess is that the closest there is to a mid travel kit is the AP being that there never has been an actual mid travel kit for our trucks.

Total Chaos also makes a +2" version of their kit for our trucks.
