    i've caught sharks off the dirty myrtle state park pier, not on a boat though. only been offshore once and we were catching smaller fish.

    pretty sure i have the gear needed for 2 rigs. 2 8' surf rods w/ older Penn reels and either 30 or 40 lb test. have some pretty big weights as well. some left over from surf fishing OBX and other stuff from catfishing setups.

    mine are definitely not big money. these reels were bought by my dad when we used to go catfishing when i was ~8-9 y/o i think.

    Trolling is the SHIT! I actually don't do fresh water fishing much cause (IMO) it never compares to offshore trolling. Whipping in snapper and grouper left and right mmmmmmmmmmmm so good.
