What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Look for the Overland thread. Tons of stuff to stick under the hood!. Second battery, air box/ snorkel, fuse/relay box (RTMR or RFRM), On Board Air (OBA), On Board Water (OBW) - yeah, look in the overland thread.

 

I put winch solenoid in your empty spot except I also have abs there. Drivers blue sea fuse panel and all my relays for , hid's, led's, 12v, compressor for oba, cb radio, puddle lights, rock lights etc.

 

Spare battery and snorkel tubing.

 

I whored these out in the SCS thread, but I had to show it off again. Installed the wheel/tire combo today and rather excited about it!

Traded my MGM in Friday hated to let it go but car seat would not fit with the access cab.

Got a black DCLB and the build starts all over. With the last 5 years of working on mine combined with years of scanning the TW threads I know exactly what I want... Just with the new baby it will come down to time vs money.

At the dealership now getting new headlights (DTRL lenses melting/cracking) and having a whirring noise checked out.

 

Turns out it the alternator is going out. First time the extended warranty has come in handy.

 

Ermb left everything on. With the baby on the way it's going to be awhile before I lift it so the wheels and tires would have just been taking up space. Same route different parts. Like I got the bull bar and spacer lift on that one. On this I'm going full bumpers actually coilover replacements. First will be blacking out and may do a satoshi then prob besttop and bestop rack for future tent. Besttop I'll use everyday so I'm starting with stuff like that and working up to the big items

Just a FYI - many dealers will give you the new truck and allow a few days before you turn in the used truck so you can swap parts. My buddy did this and he swapped all his aftermarket parts over.

Dealers want to sell stock used trucks not modified. They are easier to sell and most times they give you less for a modified truck.

 

This^ I service all the used cars that come though my dealership (ford) stock trucks are a much easier sell modified trucks you need that one person that wants the truck that way.
