    I think this would look the best and be the most functional. That is, of course, if you never plan on getting a winch. You may also have spots where the lightbar isn't big enough to cover up the holes that are already in your bumper.

    I think Option 1 is too low and wouldn't be as protected.

    Silver Solder is the secret to longevity on the compass fix. It will survive the high temps of that compartment. I've got a black Taco and the fix is 3 years old now.
