Hmmm interesting, learn new things everyday

 

I pulled up the maintance schedule online and couldn't find any mention other than driving while towing at 60k miles and some reference to manual trans.

I've attached it to this post.

 

Any of you guys deal with a whistle from your windshield? Mine whistles around 35, 50, and 60 mph. Gonna go to toyota and see if they will do anything about it

 

I deal with a whistle/vibration from the antenna at high speeds.

 

I recall there being a TSB that addresses this. That's all I know...

 

According to the T-SB-0062-12, “some 2009-2012 Tacoma vehicles may exhibit a wind whistle type noise coming from upper area of the windshield or the outer perimeter of the windshield. This may be caused by a windshield molding fitment issue and/or windshield urethane sealer application issue.”

 

Well that sucks if that doesnt apply to 13s.. but thank you for the info

At the factory they had an issue of the top of the windshield not being sealed in spots. They are gonna fight you about it, but finally someone will know wtf you are talking about and will have the windshield resealed. I had to deal with this for a while finally took me getting the manager involved for shit to get fixed.
