    how the hell do you remove the sway bar. I cannot fit my socket in that tight squeeze :(

    I have small hands too and its a tight fit

    The end links or where it connects to the frame? The end links require an open wrench and an allen wrench at the same time. The frame connections weren't hard at all for me to access. The passenger side was a bit harder. I think it was the exhaust pipe that was in the way.

    the end links are easy. its the frame connections that I cant seem to get loose. open wrench too?

    I just used a regular socket or wrench I think. Taking a look now.... It's been awhile.

    Yeah I just used a ratchet and socket. Maybe a 4" extension as well, I can't remember.

    :) I think maybe you are talking about the brackets? The nut up top is welded.

    This is what im talking about. I need to unscrew from the top.

    Looks like this may be a 2nd gen..oops.. but you get the idea. I really hope I dont have to remove my skids (pretty damn heavy)

    We have the same skid, mine is off right now for cleaning and repainting, heavy as $@&#!!!!!

    Maybe that's why I'm not seeing the trouble.

    That's a 1st gen and that's how mine were. Just a socket from the top, I don't remember it being a hassel. Believe it was a 12mm.

    No that's a first gen. Second gens have the rack and sway bar on the front side of the spindles.

    Pretty sure I just used a ratcheting box wrench

    Oh and when I took mine off initially it was with stock skids on.

    Yeah you gotta put the ratchet on the top. The bottom nut is welded on.

    Pretty sure that's a 1st gen pic, my swaybar was the same, it unscrews from the top, used a 12 point open/box end wrench and took some time. A lot of time. I think I got less than a half turn on the bolt each time. bled a little too.:rolleyes:
    I did not have to remove the skid.
