You can set picks up to 5 minutes before kickoff. So if you forget the early games you can still make picks for the later games

There aren't many people offended by the word Rebel. It's the old south, slavery, confederate army image that's offensive to people.

My high school's colors and mascot are very much like Ole Miss. They've talked for a while about changing the mascot away from the Colonel Reb looking guy, but they haven't yet. I think they should.

If it were to happen, they would still keep the name Rebels.

I actually enjoy seeing Herbstreit and Corso on set. :notsure: Pollack, Holtz, and Mark May are annoying to me. :notsure:
It's a popular opinion, at least among commentators, that Miller was one of the best pure athletes in the nation last year and the best runner in the Big 10. It would be interesting to watch him at running back.
Doubtful. Don't they have to go through Oregon and Stanford. Arizona State looks pretty good too.

I'm generally not a guy who thinks everything needs to be politically correct, but I think the mascot Ole Miss used and my HS still uses is legitimately offensive to enough people that I'd like to see it go. Slavery was a truly terrible thing, and any throwback to a time when it was a way of life no longer has a place in society.

For those who in the "history not hate" line of thinking, there's still the school's nickname to tie the university to the institution of slavery.

I believe the elephant has been the mascot for forever. Depending on who you ask, the Crimson Tide came from one of two places. First, Alabama was commonly referred to as the Crimson. Once, after a tie, a front page headline read, "Crimson Tied," and it evolved from that. The other story is that during a radio broadcast, an announcer described the kickoff as a "Crimson Tide rolling down the field."
