Literally took me 20 minutes to build the fence out of scrap and a couple clamps , even if they offered one I probably wouldn't spend any money on it

    Portable joiner
With additional tables oz could do longer boards. But his boards have to already be close to sized. A full sized joiner can be used on irregular boards and ones that have bows and such. A long board with a bow will still come out of a lunch box as a long board with a bow.

So anyway , to finish this whole skirtboard train of thought

Laid out and fitted a 1/4" plywood template and got one of the skirtboards sized and fitted

It's not attached yet , that will be tomorrow and I quickly just stuck on some scrap pieces of the hat so you can see the final profile of my baseboard trim

Yes I know. This plan you speak of, it was the so-called "retarded plan," right?:D

No home improvement plan survives intact after first encounter with the wife / gf etc. I once though I was going to have break up a scuffle over cabinet hardware and placement

I haven't had this issue yet. Of course the last house was mine. But yeah, in the new house, I'll say "these light fixtures suck" and she'll say "they're fine." I leave it and let it stew until she thinks they suck, too. Thing is, I change things to make them better and make it mine, and she adapts to things as they are. Fundamental difference in perspective.

My sister just per fiance through holy hell on some major remodeling to her house. He started calling her "Change Order." He does it for a living too, and he's damn good.

Figured I'll ask in here, no sense starting a new thread. Anyway, what's the best way to take care of granite counter tops. The house I moved into has em, and I have no clue what to use. Clorox wipes or the like for every day clean up? Something I should apply regularly to keep in good shape and looking nice?
I'm kind of a clean freak, and like a clean sanitary counter top.

So instead of Googling about it, maybe someone here has personal experience with it, and recommend something.

Depends on the granite some is slightly more porous than others. And I've seen ones sealed and unsealed that both look great.

Here's a pic of it, if that helps anyone at all. It feels pretty porous when you rub your fingers over it...

We just wash our granite with soap and water , the installer sealed it when he was finished can't remember the exact product but mine is probably due to be resealed

    #3 fitted but not installed

The tile and radiused bullbose made this exponentially more trying to fit than the first set
