So I’m Getting ready to Lift and upgrade the suspension on my Tacoma, I have a 2014 4x4 TRD Off-Road with a 4 leaf pack from the factory (I think)

Currently I have the factory TRD Off-Road Billies all around. I’m looking at a few different options in the rear as well as to what would be the best setup to compliment the rear for a good price.

    For the front
I was Thinking 5100’s set at 0 with OME 885 or 886 Coils, based on what I’ve read this will give me roughly 2.5”- 3” (correct me if I’m wrong). What are my other options for the front around the same ballpark in price? And of the options listed below, what am I going to be happier with?

    For the Rear
This is where I cannot make up my mind and would like some input, for shocks I’m looking at
    - Fox Remote Resi’s. I know they come in 3 different travel lengths (8”,10”, and 12”). If I choose 10 or 12 inches of travel do I have to also get new bump stops?
    - Bilstien 5160 Remote Resi’s
    - Icon 2.0 Remote Resi’s

    Leaf Packs/Add a Leafs

Not really sure what direction to go on this end either. I’ve been looking at
    - Icon 1.5 Progressive add a leaf
    - Old Man Emu Dakar springs

What are my other options for leaf springs or packs.

This is my first truck and I’m still learning on what flows with what. Overall I’m looking at what’s going to give the best ride and performance while trying to keep it as close to 1k as possible.

    Thanks Guys

If you stick to those shock options in the rear the front wont keep up. I would say resis all around or none at all.

I would match the shocks front and rear and get a full leaf pack...
To get a leaf pack you need to decide what you are going to use your truck for and how much weight you are going to carry.
Dakars are a great do it all leaf but if I didn't tow I would ditch the over load springs or get a progressive leaf pack...

I did some digging last night online and Decided that I'm going to just invest a little more cash and do Icon coilovers non resi/ or Resi's up front (havent decided), and the 2.0 Resi's in the back.

What are my other options for leaf packs other than Dakars or Deavers. I will not be towing, maybe 1-2 times a year tops. I dont plan on keeping much weight in the bed either.

What is the "average" lift height with the all pros? And how is the ride quality?

See my build thread in my signature

In AZ we have a lot of people with different set ups I have icon 2.5' with the allpro standard pack personally but a lot of us have had either the dakars and deavers and aal. Come to a meet and look at the trucks to get an idea of what you want.

Alright thanks for the info! that helps alot actually.

I'm looking for about 2.5" - 3" of lift in the rear as i dont want a super raked stock but just higher look. SO what ever will give me that and not sacrifice my ride quality. I will be getting the Extended travel Icon coilovers and will have them set at or just under 3.5".

Alright that might be what I end up doing, how do you like the allpro pack?
