I guess pieces of it are. There are 3 of those things up here and a 2 ton overhead crane. Far end of this unit has the biggest commutator I've ever seen.

Yeah I understand what you mean. I'm still not even sure what direction I want to go.

Kinda looking into aftermarket HU's to see if one has everything I want. My main problem with the toyota navi is that you have to connect to entune and plug in the phone in order to get traffic. Hoping to find one that has traffic all the time and has all the other things I want. Otherwise I might just stick with my 2013 hu and get a clean sweep and aftermarket amps/subs.

I only really wanted the 2014 so I could change the startup image to an image of the time display from the BTTF delorean. :D

So to show traffic it needs your phone data aka phone sync etc?

Mine just shows it instantly...weird thought they would be the same in that aspect.
Lol I've seen that...I just have a TRD as the start up image

That would be going in the right direction if you where going to upgrade your entire system with new stuff...if not it's pointless.
And the new jbl unit is the same as the non jbl
Only difference is that the jbl is compatible with the jbl system

yeah but finding someone selling the '14 JBL system for as cheap as that one guy selling the non-JBLs might be difficult. I do plan on ditching the JBL stuff and upgrading the whole system at some point.

So far, this is the first vehicle I've ever owned where I didn't immediately go aftermarket. I've definitely thought about it just taking my time with it this time around also, last I heard the dash kits for the '12+ don't fit very well so hoping a little more time and someone will make one that fits well. i actually kinda like the stock HU except for the map not showing traffic without my phone.

yeah, I've always been a big fan of Pioneer HUs. I agree, that no bluetooth audio when somethings plugged into the USB port thing is stupid. Otherwise, those other things shouldn't bother me.
