Wow... they're both pretty damn good especially when comparing the older stuff. I don't necessarily like Aerosmiths newer stuff. Saw them in concernt ages ago.

    I call it a tie!!

A coworker was at Sturgis when Steven Tyler fell off the stage...again.

Boston was my alltime fav. Its a shame Brad Delp passed away, his vocals were great, way more range than ST.

Smokin & Long time were my favs and still get played loud in my house when I can. :D

Boston broke new ground when they came out in the 70's. Tom was great on the organ and was creative on the technology that he used in the background music. Brad was great on the vocals. Like all bands their first album was killer and the later albums were good but not as good as the first. When Brad left the band as far as I am concerned they fell apart. Now that he passed away it is over. I went to see them several years ago and the show was great. The organ came up from the stage and it sounded great with Tom playing it. Brad was great on the vocals. I went to see them in 2007 or 2008 and it was dissapointing. Tom was playing just a keyboard and they had a female as part of the vocal group. It wasnt the same and I wont go see them again.
All that said, Boston is my favorite band. I went to see Aerosmith a couple of months ago and they were great also.

Boston. I saw them live on the Third Stage Tour in the late eighties and it was one of the best shows ever. Brad Delp was an amazing singer. He will be missed.
