Lauren, I won't be able to make the run but I might be able to stop by Home Depot real quick to put some faces to some screen names.

me and a couple of buddies will be up on old stage on Sunday. We probably wont be running eagle rock, but probably just playing in the mud! If you don't know where it is: make a left at the top of eagle rock and follow that all the way down until you see a field. or take mt. baldy all the way around (eagle rocks ends into it).

Our group is a 90? white pick up a 90 red pick up and my 08 black taco

Man, I'd love to make it there and see if someone less moronic than me can help change out my front brake lines.

(no offense to old and young Bretts)

Be careful where you go in those fields. If it's the area I'm thinking of, that's actually off trail and you can get a big fine from the Forest Service, not to mention damage the landscape.

Buddy of mine took these photos recently, notice the fence post...

    IMAG1327_zpse87c8636_0f8f76f150f7ee052cd5ff7a445e19e832c077d4.jpg
    IMAG1329_zpsb813db02_689e498b814999860e1eeaa85d02552995da4afb.jpg

Totally illegal area to go into. That dirt road on the right is the trail and is perfectly fine, but everything else is off limits. I don't want this trail closed.

^^ When we ran it backwards over 4th of July we saw the tire threads in those fields and you can clearly see the area fenced off. Also it does not show as open on the MVUM map for the area. Definitely off limits.

Meet at the Home Depot at 9:00 am

    Home Depot
    2250 Southgate Rd
    Colorado Springs, CO 80906

I've had a few friends run it recently so the trail itself is open, but we believe the East side gate is only open on weekends. So just in case the gate is not unlocked, we can do the gultches (Hackett, Longwater, Metberry) instead.

    Hackett: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=311
    Longwater: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=310
    Metberry: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=209

But I'm fairly certain we should be good to go for Eagle Rock.

Sliders and rear locker are recommended for this journey due to the unknown condition of Eagle Rock.

Not on here it seems, but we're bringing both trucks and there should be at least 3 others from another group.

I will run it with your and break in the paint on all that new armor when you get it installed. Since my brother lives down there I am sure he will go with us.

I'd be down but my sliders are still about a month out and it's a little far south for us. Probably just tool around west of boulder/longmont this weekend
