none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Join the Gym. That'll do more than any of those drugs or plants.

It's all in my head at the moment...
Bike and Gym are good but you're forgetting the most important part...It's what you shovel into your gullet. I've been there. I'm not ragging ya but making you aware of that a bike ride and a crunch isn't gonna do it all.

My Cholesterol was off the chart. What you need to focus on is the bad stuff LDL and the Triglycerides and work on raising the good stuff HDL. Activity will raise the good stuff.

Not to plug a site but I went to BodyBuilding.com and it walked me through exactly what I needed to be doing. Along with that and my Dr. and I got a dietitian (if you have insurance they may pay that, mine did for me under a preventative kinda love) Look under other profiles and a section called transformations and you will find someone who is in/or was in the same boat.

At 41 I had 2 heart attacks and now have a stent in a major artery in my heart (LAD 100% blocked) Heart Dr. was blown away I was still walking, working and living. It was all attributed to poor diet. I think I had a Filet-O-Fish jammed in there.

Best thing to do first is ask your doctor and get him help you out. You may need meds to get everything jump started.

    good luck.

After working at it, my total Chol. is 89, Tri 113,HDL 35 (which still needs to come up) and LDL is 31.

It's not a life of chicken and Cheerios but some smart decisions now need to be made. Learn to cook and there are thousands of sites and recipes out there. Not to kick Bob in the coconuts but slide off of this site once and a while and search for healthy living.

    Again,Best of luck

I take the plant sterols. I do that along with diet and exercise and it helped me to lower my total cholesterol almost 30 points. I'm not saying it will do the same for you, but it did for me. The most important thing to do is to watch what you eat and exercise regularly.

Good advice thanks. Look at my daily diet I don’t eat a lot of fatty food. I used to eat 3-5 burgers a week but as of 8 months ago I’m down to one a month, it was the same for Del taco ect. I signed up for a class to control my chol so hopefully they would help me learn how to eat properly.

BTW did 8 miles on the bike yesturday.. I feel great today.
