Just purchased an '09 Tacoma Access Cab and want to replace the crappy stereo with a HU that includes Navigation/GPS, iPod, quality CD/radio and rear-backup camera capabilities. I have the factory backup camera on the tailgate but not rear-view mirror display. Bluetooth and satellite radio capabilities would be optional. Preferably a system that easily connects to the existing wiring. Any recommendations?

Look into any of the Eclipse AVN series double din navi units. Eclipse (aka fujitsu ten) makes the factory navigations for Toyota. So all those features your looking for will be mostly plug and play for the Tacoma

I have the Eclipse AVN6620 and it works well for me... Probably not as nice as the Kenwood's, but I got a ridiculous deal on it. A lot of people rave about the Pioneer's and some of the never JVC's look super nice too.

Thanks. Hasn't Kenwood stopped production on the DNX5120? Also, has anyone installed an Eclipse AVN726E in their Tacoma?

I purchased the dnx6140, it is the upgrade to the dnx5140 as this one has bluetooth built in. I love it so far, I tried the JVC, Pioneer, and Alpine models but they didn't impress me. It really came down to the built in Garmin in the Kenwood units. Its just really that impressive. It look1s like it will do everything you want, and you can hook up the factory camera to the unit

i asked the same question a while back and got great feedback. i recall that kenwood was the choice of most. some sent pics and the systems looked great. ive been looking around for a while still and the bang for your buck is in the kenwood. if i dont end up with a kenwood system then i just dont know what happened.

Thanks. Think I'll go with the Kenwood DNX6140 plus iPod and steering wheel accessories.
