    Truck is a 2014 Access Cab, 4x4 with 2.7 I4.

Yes I've seen many posts about this and I am confused about which part number I'll need. Now most of the post I am reading are from 2009ish.

IF I go on to the Online Parts catalog and use a 2013 Tacoma (I couldn't find a 2014 Tacoma parts catalog). It says I need 84652-02710.

Here the part that throws a curve ball, I've seen a couple people say the 84652-02610 has worked on their '12+. Also its reports that the -02610 possibly has the backwards intermittent speeds but to use "84652-04141" instead for correct intermittent speeds.

    My research has shown:
84652-02710 works for 2012-2014 Tacoma and 2014 Tundra and 2013-2104 Corolla
84652-02610 works for 2009-2011 Tacoma (but may work on '12+)
84652-04141 works for 2005-2008 Tacoma (but may work on 09-12) and 2007-2011 Camry, 2007-2011 Camry Hybrid, 2006-2008 Solara, 2007-2013 Tundra

Just trying to know which one to order.

Not all models come with intermittent wipers. Base models or convenience package do not.

So what's the difference between the 3 part numbers?

Also, when I pull back to spray fluid on the windshield, will the wipers move at the same time?

Yes they will all wipe when u spray.

I believe the different part numbers have to do w the direction u end up moving the wheel for the longer delay wipe, rolling it forward or backward. There are endless discussions on this.

I don't know how Toyota puts those base stalks on the truck. Such pieces of garbage. When I asked the dealer about this they said "it would involve rewiring and is impossible" lol they crack me up

yeah that is usually BS. a lot of things are pre-wired and ready to activate

I got a base Yaris and just by buying the switches I activated cruise, fogs (plus relay and the fogs themselves), rear wiper delay. all I did was get rav4 controls and plugged into the existing Yaris connections and bam, 150 bux in switches for what on a Yaris could cost 1200 if ordered that way !!!!

I don't get it either. Even the Yaris comes with 3-speed (fixed delay) wiper. Hell, I'd been happy with that....though I do like my variable delay.

We all get a marketing lesson working on toyotas; T has modularized stuff so much they can get you to do a $1-2k upgrade to get another $20.00 worth of switch. It's also how they make serious profit doing upgrades after delivery; most if not all is standard wiring from a standard harness. Seen this on this site for the rearview mirror upgrade, side mirror upgrade, and now the wiper stalk.
OBTW: My '12 Taco interval wipes (wide line is more wipes-LESS interval) are reverse from all my prior toyotas: Sienna, '02 taco, Corolla, Highlander and Rav4 (wide line is less wipes-more interval). Must be part of the harness. Anyway i timed them - intervals (off time) are about 2.5/5/7.5 and 10 seconds. ymmv

I know this thread is old. But I did the intermittent wiper mod about a month ago. Today, there is no intermittent, I've got up for mist, intermittent is constant low, then low and high. Anybody else had this problem? The stalk is a brand new oem.
