2014 4x4 double cab long bed TRD sport bought in early July for 33,600 plus taxes and license fees and sticker price was around 35,200.

At this time San Francisco bay area did not have many 2014 double cab long bed Tacomas out at the dealerships. Majority of them were either used tacos (08'-12') with 70k+ miles or short bed.

Of all the quotes from other dealerships, I thought this was the best price for the truck! I feel like I over paid after reading this thread, but I love my new truck!:D

2014 double cab, long bed, 4x4, tow, deleted factory alarm, SR5. Ordered in May, done in early July. Long bed requirement made it a huge pain. Ordered out of state to save 4k on price and lower tax. Then shipping companies gave me issues for a month +. Just got it last week.

    $30,700 plus TTL

Slowly ordering a bunch of stuff. Hoping that Fold a Cover G4 Elite tonneau has a sale soon.

Added katzkin leather, viper 2 way remote start, tinted front windows to match rear, waiting for clear bra, pop and lock, and need floor mats.

Those seats are nice, I blew the wad on the truck, put half down via my trade so add ons and mods will take a while. Nice truck bud.

I would think it's been in a wreck or something, or something major cosmetic is wrong with it.

Nope nothing wrong with it just certified used without a camper shell. I traded a 2012 2500 ram for it. I had alot of positive equity in the ram.

Well that was kinda deceiving, so its trade + $8900. We still dont know the PRICE. 8900 seems really low for a 12' with 19k mi. I mean i was born at night but not last night :)

I'm trying to find a DCLB Sport in San Diego right now and it's proving very difficult. Must be a California thing

I went to the dealer to see if they could find a reg cab 4x4 but I thought better of it (I really needed the room anyway) so i started looking at the double cabs on the lot. all were built in mexico but 2 and I got one of them. dcsb trd 4x4 mgm sticker was $34,253 plus the dealer $1,400 add on they wanted me to buy, i told the salesman no way I buy the add on we start from sticker price, ended up paying $33,700 with tax tag and fees. they just wont give much on these tacomas.

+1, stupid. He did not pay 8900. He paid 8900 plus the value of the trade.

Month into ownership; red 2014 short bed double cab SR5 v6 6speed. 4x4; tow package, Entune Plus, mats, few other small things.

Sticker 34, paid 28.5 no negotiation with an employee discount. Ended up getting 13.5 on my trade (2010 Outback Sport) and a 2.2% interest on the rest. Nice upgrade, enjoying the ride. Will probably put a URD short throw in it to smoothen things up a bit; and maybe a new exhaust as it's a little too quiet/smooth for my taste for gauging shifts.

In the above post; I used truecar. Was painless, I connected to wifi; pulled my laptop out and put the truck into the truecar portal; and he then showed his manager. Knocked ~5k off the sticker within a few minutes with minimal fuss.

Interestingly; the sticker had ~600 dollars mysteriously added to one of the packages that truecar didn't agree with (shady dealer markup maybe?). Dealer just accepted the lowest price and I walked out happy.

So I just ordered my first tacoma. It's a 2015 DCLB Sport 4wd, JBL stereo, nav. The dealer offers 0% financing with 2k down and all their new cars come with a lifetime power train "guarantee". The salesman said it would end up around $34,000. I haven't seen many ppl including interest rates, so it's hard to tell how much everyone is paying when it's all said and done. Just wandering what y'all think. Good deal, bad deal, or should I run for the hills haha. Thanks for the input

I think you could get it down around $33k but it being a '15 and this early you may pay a premium for that, I would ask what this 'guarantee' covers and get documentation of such
