Who do you track with? I'm trying to hit either AMP or Barber sometime this fall or winter when I get the miata running again, might see you out at some point.

One of the organizers up here is doing Barber Nov 1-2, but they require me to pay a mechanic to inspect the car and sign off before every track day instead of just doing tech at the track like everybody else, which aggravates me a lot.

I track with Z1 who puts on a track day for their yearly Z Nationals event.

Tracks Unlimited and Chin Motorsports puts on track days at Barber. Also the name escapes me but their is a guy in the RX7 group in Alabama who puts on track events at Little Talladega and Barber a few times out of the year. I think he rents the track and then invites friends and other car enthusiasts to participate for a fee (usually much less than the big track day companies).

Check out Just Track It. (justtrackit.net) It's run by just two guys out of Atlanta in their spare time, and they charge $140 for TGPR, $225 for Barber, and $250 for AMP. Hadn't heard of Tracks Unlimited, but Chin Motorsports seemed a little on the pricey side - they just did Road Atlanta and it was $500 for two days. Then again, RA is expensive anyway.

Rezoom are the people requiring a mechanic's inspection that I avoid.

Nobody beats Hooked On Driving though, those fuckers are Hooked On Extremely High Track Day Prices

There was an article on Jalopnik that mentioned 98-02 accord v6's had weak auto transmissions, but if you drop the 6-speed out of an Acura into it, you had a fairly fun, reliable DD.

If you don't plan to wheel your next truck, I would definitely go fullsize. Gas mileage is the same, more room, much much better towing. Just not very good for trails.

Looking for another Tacoma. Little bro is turning 16 and I really don't want him to get anything but a Tacoma. He loves them but is second guessing. Anybody got one for sale or know anyone who has one? I think his budget is like $9000

If there is anyone here who like antique furniture, (And I mean the REAL stuff, not the cheap crap at the flea markets and garage sales) our local antique store is having it's anniversary sale. I know both of the owners personally, and they really know their antiques. If you have something of value (antique-wise) I believe they are still looking at buying as well. This is the e-mail flyer:
