I'm in no way an audio pro but what exactly is the "ebay cheap double din navigation unit". Any details on this unit? It's just that the words eBay and cheap throw up a couple of red flags.

Unless you really don't care about usability and more advanced equalization options from your HU, IMO, buying a cheap DD HU would be regrettable. I have no experience with any of these so called "cheap" eBay head units. I am just a firm believer that you get what you pay for 99% of the time.

Do you have an old single DIN HU you could throw in there and save to buy a little better HU? The Metra and Schoske dash kits accommodate single and DD HU's, so it wouldn't be wasted... The speakers look good, you will love Marv's box...

I agree with the others on the navi unit. go with a cheap single din and save up for a good dd navi, or spend $300 on a good brand name deck w/o navi. it'll be worth it in the long run.

I was an Arc dealer when my store was opened, and that little setup will ROCK!!. The 300.4 has so much "nutz" to it, and the sound is UBER clean. I have done similiar setups to what you are doing, and you WILL NOT be disappointed!! :D:D
