    I'm 40 miles away from Napa, woke up from the LOUD noise of the trees shaking, sounded like a huge wind gust for a few seconds then felt the house swaying on our floating foundation and that was it. My uncle and family friend are Napa residents and my uncle's house pretty much dumped and destroyed everything that wasn't nailed down to shelves, drawers and cabinets. Fridge, TV, entire kitchen. Heard all the gas pumps were taped off and closed, he drove 30 miles away for gas and they weren't selling gas either. Obviously a lot of damage and info now 12 hrs later, glad more weren't hurt. Buildings can be fixed, items replaced.

    Bit of a reminder for me, seems like everybody is a little too lax on disaster prep and supplies, myself included.
