    I figured this thread would be about a mobile toolbox, to carry along in case of emergencies.

    In my truck, I have a 15 piece Craftsman metric socket set, a 14mm wrench, a couple sets of pliars, a small hammer, duct tape, screwdrivers, and about twenty feet of steel wire all rolled up.

    What's up with the tape and wire? If I bust a hose, I can wrap it with several layers of duct tape and then some wire to secure it. I've done this before, it was enough to get me 20 miles to a parts store.

    Also, if I take the truck off-road and damage something underneath, the steel wire can be used to temporarily secure whatever I broke - assuming the truck is driveable.

    I also carry one quart of motor oil and small containers of brake fluid, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid.

    This all fits inside a large ammo can.

    Went with Snap-On for a long time. Switched to Craftsman now. I like the feel of Craftsman tools a lot better.

    I'll take a pic of the new one we just got at work... brand new bright red snap-on, designs alot similar to dzwilds ^ just bigger. All military gets discounts from Snap-on but I think even after that discount the box was still 22k loaded with most the tools we need.

    About 22k IRRC with 10% discount for military. Everything lazer cut , the slots are labeled with part #'s so you know what to ask for when something breaks.
