+1 to check motor mounts. I'm having the same problem right now but it's very minimal, and hopefully it stays that way...or gets better lol

I had this on my 98'......till the lower ball-joint broke off the passenger side. New ball-joint remedied most of it . I replaced upper and lower ball-joints. This was the fix. Also check the steering tie-rod,end-link bushings and the torsion bar bushings . Just replaced torsion bar bushings with poly-u set. Had to trim the flanges down to get the torsion bar back in place.

Grey wire and keyless entry. I like stock.
While your bj issues might have been the cause of your steering wheel shake while driving, they don't apply here. At idle, your bj's aren't moving at all. It is most likely the motor mounts. That's the only thing that could make your steering wheel shake sitting still idling.

As an automatic your torque converter may be going out as well if the motor mounts are ok

New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
the collapsible spline halfway down the steering column is very loose...do a search, careful removal and a tack weld will fix it..and/or the universals articulating to steering rack are loose...

    Cheers...
