I'm under the assumption you have a similar coilover design as the 6 lugs....

So, with that in mind, I'm going to say - you have to compress the coil enough so you can rotate the top plate.

You can use a long (6" or longer) 3/8" socket extension, and by inserting it into the lower shock bolt hole, you can rotate the shock to the propper orientation.

Thank you janster,Will the bottom of the shock just twist if I try and turn it ? mine seems to not want to twist the 120 degrees I need to turn it.
By the way ,I'm a cabinet maker by trade so pardon my lack of knowledge
on this stuff . Do I need coil spring clamps to releive pressure before this
    thing will twist?

    Chris,
Hate to sound like a whimp but I tried your Idea and the bottom
of the shock will not budge. should I spray some lube at some points?
Will I break the shock by trying to force it to twist ?

Thank you all , Finally got it to twist using a longer bar and a little lube down at the bottom of the coil spring , I did not have coil compressor tool,
which would have made life much easier. I sure wish "Ready lift kit"
instructions and there video would have reviewed this step , they skiped
    right over it completly!

You would think that Ready Lift would have included that into the video. That is definitely a step that would have helped a lot to see in the video.

I had the same prob with the fat bobs lift on mine. Read on TW to mount the upper strut loosely tighten nuts, then use some sort of long bar to insert on the lower eyelet to use for leverage to twist to the right position. Worked for me. I think the lube idea would have been helpful.
