Working on killin a keg doesn't count, but I give you props if you're still coherent and have half to go.

Wassup guys just got back from the Nationals race!

Short version story, was in 1st place had a 5th gear high speed crash cracked 3 ribs and broke my hydration bladder/tool backpack, had to ride 2 miles back to the pits to drop off backpack and took off with no water and had 47 miles to to, ended up still in 3rd place...stoked and bummed at the same time!!
Shit I am sore as hell now, happened at about 12:30pm on saturday, can barely take a full breath.

Hope you guys had a good weekend!

Haha it was fun but a couple issues screwed me! Bah! Its OK I can take a pretty good hit, in more ways than one, lol

    It was!

    Yeah I'm fine, thats racin'!

Heres a couple shots one when I was putting in my headphones (yes I listen to music while racing!)

And the 2nd one is me getting the holeshot (Im in orange gear with white Yamaha YZ 250) in the line of about 100 other riders!

Dang Jason! I remember thinking that you sounded like you were a full throttle kind of guy when you were working on my truck years ago. I sold my dirt bike in my mid 30s....... would get back from two days at Ocotillo Wells (tootin' around) and couldn't stand up straight for a day. Are there any other 'old farts' like yourself at the nationals or is it mostly kids?

Its a mixed bag, more older guys than young kids, seems they are more interested in "things you can do while standing still" these days.

One more shot during the start!
