Meh, not sure how I feel about this. They're dipped, so if I don't like it I can just peel it off. Can't do the whole wheel until I get my new tires

I plan on painting my wheels black. The finish on them is all cracked and bubbled, it's so ugly.. I'm going to sand blast them over the winter since I have a set of steelies for my winter tires.

I'm gonna save up some $$ over the winter and buy some nice wheels in the spring. I can afford wheels/tires now but I'd have to really limit what I want. Once I get my new tires on I'm gonna dip the wheels and that'll be what I run over the winter.

I want some level 8 wheels. They make me drool..

At the moment I want to put money into other items on the truck. Once I get my lift in, tires next spring probably gonna get a bumper over the winter. I haven't decided what else yet though! I want lockers, but I'm gonna wait a bit.. I also want an FJ tcase, that'll probably come before lockers.

I feel like when they change the tires it'll make a mess of the dip. I've never dipped anything though, so I have no idea.

I can either put index cards around the tire, or if you spray up onto the tire the dip peels right off.

Yeah, dip is VERY tough to everyday stuff, but with the amount of rubbing a tire mounting machine does it would start to lift it up and peel it.

The only thing I'd use it for is to put my tow strap in it and maybe an air compressor a little down the road.
Only want to get one right now. Don't wanna get too low on cash

And I'd have to get a cobalt cause UWS doesn't make the one I want anymore...

The one I have isn't bad, and it was only about $160. It's not gonna stop a thief and the metal is a little thin but for the price you can't beat it. It would fit in your truck too.

It notched on the ends? With the fender wells being up against the front of the bed I have to get one that's notched lol

It is, but with your bed being skinner then mine idk if it would fit. They had smaller ones. At least at my Lowe's they did

My friend has a kobalt from Lowe's that would fit my truck. He has a second gen and it's about 2 inches shorter than his truck is wide

My truck is almost too wide for my box. But it fits and looks pretty low profile, which is what I wanted. Like I said though, anything Kobalt isn't the best brand but they're cheap.
