If anybody's wanting some great bumper plates for a good price check out Hi-Temp. They're one of the cheapest options, made in Alabama, and high quality. Our Athletic Dept used them at UK too.

About to hit month 7 since I started to workout and I'm definitely showing the results but I'm curious if other people go through times of the day where you don't think you are as big as you thought you were and then other times where you think you are as big as you thought you were? I know this sounds fucked up but I seriously question my physique all the time :/ I'm a freaking yo yo

Please tell me this is somewhat normal! Lol

    Welcome to the lifter's life

I did back at 24 yesterday and a chick and one of the "trainers" was on the rack next to mine

    chick asked for nutrition advice

"Go to the organic markets. Avoid GMO food and anything with gluten. All of them are bad for you. people think salads are healthy, but GMOs are really bad for you- they can cause cancer and are usually fattier (WAT). Organic foods are way better because other normal foods absorb pesticides- especially spinach"

    sweet baby raptor jebuz

I had to stop my set and laugh
I made sure she noticed I was laughing, and made a loud comment to my gymbro
"guess I know where NOT to come for nutrition advice"

im not saying organic is good either, most organic food uses organic pesticide which is not regulated. best just to get your stuff from local places or farmers market.

there are no recorded//scientifically accepted cases of adverse health effects from GMO products in the history of their use

there was one girl claiming to get sick from GMO corn that was debunked awhile back

Well.. I got to help plant corn, and then spray it. The farmer I was with explained it all to me. That is literally his life, knowing that shit.

Edit: I also now know what herbicide does

    pretty cool- just for fun?

people think "farming" is just throwing shit into dirt and watering occasionally

you don't really appreciate it until you get dirty

Farming is tough as hell. I helped out on a farm for two weeks and my back hurt every day more than even my best back workouts. Shoveling hundreds of bushels of corn, sticking your arm elbows deep up a cows ass to see if its pregnant. I got kicked by a cow lol. Also, herding them. Being in a closed pen with bulls is one of those experiences where your balls turn into solid steel afterwards.
