I did buy the bracket and it's great, but you could do the same thing by removing the mount on the windshield and gluing it further up.

Is anyone interested in a Sep. mod day? I'll be out of town for a boat race the second weekend of the month, but available to host any other time.

I suggest you buy some acetone, automatic transmission fluid, and a spray bottle. Mix equal parts acetone and ATF in the spray bottle, shake to mix it all up, the spray on nuts a few minutes before breaking them loose when you go to do you lift install.

If by help, you mean somebody to hold a cold beer for you, yes you do need help. Replacing UCAs will probably be better done using jack stands to hold the front end up since you will want to support the rotor and LCA to keep it from flopping when you have the UCA taken off.

    Yes - eventually.

While we're on the topic, I can bring a compressor, some air tools and an angle grinder. Also the usual list of sockets, torque wrenches and my TRD koozie to keep my beer cold.

Expect standard tools and a few specialty items. If you need something specific, such as a welder, you should make mention of it.

Hell yeah Jake! Good to see you'll be back by that time and able to meet. Now if someone has a plasma cutter we can grind, cut and shape any metal on the truck.

BoatRacer, you have a lift in your garage if I recall? Also I am assuming all options are open for bringing meat and grilling it?

Also I can bring a soldering iron and Playskool electrical testers (Harbor Freight) and some basic wiring.

i have everything I could possibly ever want here at home in my dads shop we built. lift plas 4 different welders band saw 1" drill press but bitch is I cant bring any of that with me. wont have a place for it so I was wondering who has all that stuff in WA.

A 13 hour drive home is a long ways to go just to do some mod work to the truck. I plan on selling a bunch of my tools just so I can buy smaller more portable stuff but yeah we'll see.

Meh.. Was more just chiming in..

Just fired one of my crew; have 600k pounds of Pollock to catch for Sept. - might be back in WA towards the 15th.

Extracted a sheared stud out of a $8k turbo housing yesterday.. That was fun.

    Anyone need a job??
