I like it! I think it looks good, and it actually serves a function other than to be aesthetically pleasing.

    Dig it.

Much better post than "I want to personalize my new truck. Tell me what I have to do to make it look exactly like your guys' truck!"

    Which happens daily.

I had a friend that plasti dipped his 4runner hood it looked pretty good the only down side to plasti dip I find is if it starts to chip or peel and you hit it with the pressure washer it starts flaking off

Great job, looks good. A lot or rovers guys did it at the shop I worked did the the blacked out hood thing. Mostly posers but the roots dated back to Africa while on safaris chasing tigers or whatever.

Looks good, but I would have continued it down to the end of the hood. I had a gold colored Land Rover and when I blacked the hood out the difference was amazing not only regarding roof light glare, but also eye strain after a long day on the highway. I was putting in several 12 hour days on the interstate and could really feel it. I think a white truck would be even worse.

I can see your point but this particular piece of vinyl was precut to follow the lines of the hood. The only way to go all the way down to the bottom of the hood would of been a custom piece.

I like it but why wouldn't you just take the hood to a body shop and have them spray it with flat black and call it a day? It serves a purpose but it seems small. for what you paid in the vinyl and install you could have had the whole hood done in paint.

I don't think I could of had the hood sprayed for $100 but to me it would look like I had a hood that I picked up from the junk yard. If I'm doing flat black on the whole hood, I'm doing the whole truck in flat black. My truck my hood. Everybody is entitled to their opinion.

I'm so glad I saw your truck because my paint has been fading on the hood and the roof. I wanted to do this but glad I saw a truck with it done! Looks good man thanks for the inspiration! I'll post some pics if I paint mine this week. Plasti dip just to see first though :)
