No, I do have an application in with them for a job I really want but I just put it in 2 weeks ago so I dont expect to hear anything for another 2-6 weeks

Well, a GS job that is

 

I've always had LEO and military as a back up. For a while I wanted to be a game warden

 

Yeah I may be going that route if I cant find the GS job I want. May just end up in Dallas or San Antonio or Austin if I dont find the right job in Houston

 

Well if I still live with my parents itll be Austin unless I find something in Temple or Belton

 

^ a job is a job. Ruling out an area for those reasons isnt doing you/him any good.

 

Its just a starting job. If I get a GS job like I want I could end up anywhere. All depends on how fast I move up and where there are openings

 

Parts can wait. Or stop drinking and buy parts like me. Seems to be working so far..

Telling you. That job isn't all bad. Be nice for a few years anyways.

Get your foot in the door in a shitty area if you have to. Do your time and when the opportunity comes along in an ideal area you will have the experience to be that much more prepared.


This is all assuming you cannot find a gig to get your foot in the door in an ideal place.
