I have one old school single post lift and a newer two post. Also have a decent air compressor, but limited air tools. Plenty of basic hand tools, grinders, portable band saw, a little tig welder, and a mig wire feed that I have not set up yet. I could borrow a plasma cutter beforehand if anyone really needs it. Most importantly, I have shop beer fridge, a good BBQ, a new Traeger smoker.
I happy to help anyone I can, have done a few lifts and mods, but I'm no good at fabing or welding!

I'll bring beer... If I can get some help, who's hosting, what day, time, and where? I'll be there to lend a hand on projects and ask for help or advice on mine. Got an open schedule this weekend

The weekend of the 6th im planning a camping trip in the mountains somewhere on the west side between Hwy 20 and Hw 2. Ive never been in that area before but im looking for a good trail to stay on that i can bring my ATV for others to ride on. Any good ideas of where to go? Ive looked online for trails that are ATV friendly but couldn't find to much. Yall are invited to!

Haha, sorry man! I was busy every damn day the last two months. One more crazy weekend and my time will return to me I hope, for a little while anyway. Fall sports are already here and I'll be busy with my kids again.

Oh, I guess I may need a mod of sorts. Just not to the truck. The aluminum base to my chop saw broke and I needed someone to tig spot weld it back into place. I will have to bring that with me lol

There is the all-invasive Asian Gypsy Moth...

I fix my own body damage but I can consider my truck a learning canvas - it doesn't need to buff out perfect. I have a stud welder and the basic tools to fix dents but have a serious lack of skills or experience which I will overcome with my inattentive off-road driving. I am also trying to teach myself a little bit about painting. One of these days I will fix a dent and nobody will notice. That will be a nice accomplishment. I'm glad to help or learn from folks but I just want to set expectations about my skill level.

I think a fiberglass company needs to pump out aftermarket body panels made from that crap Saturns were made of. A piece of plastic that went back to original shape would be great. Even if I had to replace them every few years.

I'm going to beat the dent out on my rear bedside later this weekend. I still have that gouge I will need to do something with. Maybe weld up with a thin welding stick? Then... blend it in or something later. Or just leave as is...

    Gouge? I can't recall where it's located...

I'm guessing if you weld, you will need to do a spot, move to a different location and keep jumping around until you're all filled in.

Regardless as a first step you should still try and work the area with a body/fender kit before getting to that step.

You can also repair/patch and then bondo but what I mentioned about the first step above still applies.
