Mike, how can I help you. If you want to, give me a call. PM me and I will take as much time as needed to try and fast track you on all your questions.

Boils down to this in all its basic means.

The Blue Sea Fuse Blocks are a great product. Excellent Off the shelf product. . We all have been misusing them though. Yes, they are a 'marine' product. But they were meant to be used in an area NOT exposed to the elements. SO it would be a great product to use in out cabs, or possibly in a camper shell. NOT in an engine bay.

Our engine bay fuse blocks are 'closed off' to the elements for the most part. The blue sea blocks are WIDE OPEN. Leaves room for corrosion and other things. -

On the blue sea, theres NO relay option. If you want them, you make an array like the rest of the people do. BUT - unless you are putting those relays in a sealed box, you are exposing them to the elements again, corrosion.

this is all about the DTF - Duration Til Failure. When will the component fail? In a sealed waterproof environment, the DTF drastically elongates/ increases..

Unless you are using these type of relays,

    [IMG][IMG]

You are again, misusing a product. The ones they ship with the products are meant to be mounted in cab UNLESS, you seal them in a box, OR like these

    ElectricalDistro2_954cf0770d2fee450744da5a1f6a94c9ca81e5a6.jpgDSC04424_zps25892bee_e3ef850413333cfa277798d87b09c828357173e1.jpg

Most of the time, we will never have an issue with any of the components. But, when it really counts, what do you want to worry about? a couple cents worth of components crapping out and NO replacement for them? Not me, been there, was pissed at myself for it too.

Don't buy from me if all you feel is I am trying to get your money. please don't feel this is only about me making a buck. i did this to try and get the RIGHT product to the masses. I spend more time on these than anyone knows. I could never charge the money my labor is worth, no one would ever pay for it. I make ~$50 off each build on average. Intentionally I give you the sources for all the stuff to do it yourself. It is a very time consuming project, as with most electrical stuff. Intimidating to most for that very reason. Buy your stuff, send it to me to build, still will charge $50 for the build.

I already have all the tools, supplies, and know how. Unfortunately, since I do charge so little, I don't make enough to stock them. SO I order them per build. As soon as I get the shipment, I build them and get them shipped as fast as I can. That is the only reason why you can't have one in 3 days. I would stock them and make a few in generic config then adjust to order, but I do not have that capital right now. You tell me what you want done and if it is possible I do it.

Heres an interesting comparison. if you took a bunch of bananas, ripped two off. Set one on the counter in your house, and another outside on your table on the porch. In the house, the banana would last for MUCH Longer. Outside, well, my bet is the bugs would get to it first, exposing the inside then an animal maybe.

Anyways, hopefully this is of some help. Not joking, PM me and I'll give you my # anyone for that matter, if there is something I can help with. Information is free. I just want to get the right info to the masses.

FYI - these are used on Caterpillar vehicles. If thats not a bad ass off road vehicle built to withstand anything. You get the point.

I wanted a product that would last a LONG time and protect the electrical system I made. Found it and love it. Some others are fond of it too. So much so, they asked me to make them one. Before I even considered making them for the masses.

Saw on a polaris forum, many people were using these too.

Here to help in any capacity I can.

Thanks for the idea on shipping my plate with the panel. Also interested in the ground terminal but just wondering when it's mounted down will there be enough room to run the wires up in the middle to ground or am I missing something. How much for the ground terminal?

You get a mounting bolt or two with my boxes. Also I send the ground wire with terminal in addition to the power wire with terminal. So your taken care of. As for individual accessory grounds, I recommend people ground their accessory's close to the mounting area there in. If you prefer a separate ground bus, I can include it at no cost for the weekend special for you. See the OP near the bottom of the post for a pic of it. Or a page back for multiple pics of it.

I would like the install pic above for the negative ground bus. I'm sure this thing will make a lot more sense when I'm holding it.
