    Dad has been using some of his sick leave because of his back pains.

    This evening while I was at work I decided to come home for lunch, as I was pulling into the culdesac I saw a fire engine pulling in which is usually no big deal because his coworkers are always stopping by to say hi.

    anyways long story short, they werent dropping by for a friendly visit like normal. He called the station and wanted to go to the hospital.

    EDIT - being that he goes on EMS calls all the time, he self diagnosed himself as possibly having a ruptured disk.

    well, you know how hes the big burly macho fireman...the only time I've seen him in that much pain was when he had the "big one" (heart attack) while I was standing next to him in the hospital 2 years ago.

    He was in alot of pain. I've never heard him bitch about pain, he was moaning and swearing.

    FUCK this kinda shit pisses me off.
