The front brakes are easy. The disc brakes on my old Grand Am were pretty easy too.

I hate drums, much rather have disc brakes. Just wait until your parking brake seizes up, it's a PITA to free up.

How's a lunch meet on 9/20 at Boston Tavern work for anyone/everyone? Gives people time to plan and doesn't have to screw up the night either.

This morning I changed my GF's brakes. What an adventure that was....

While I was changing the brakes, she gave my truck a well deserved bath!

Then I went up to NH and hung out with my buddy for a bit

And we worked on my new project! Today we pulled the carbs out and cleaned them out

Anyone familiar with worcester airport? A few houses that my realtor is recommending but they seem really close to the end of one of the air strips. The houses are on 10+ acres though. They are in Leicester, also a town we aren't super familiar with.

There doesn't seem to be much flight traffic, jet blue has 2-4 flights a day. Concerned about noise, and concerned about future development or expansion

Only 5 hours total of tinkering later and one of my garage doors opens with the push of a button. Only need to fine tune it, lubricate the assemblies and reinstall the casing.

Then I get to do the other stall as that's broken too! Yes, first world problems...well aware.

Correct. From what I have heard through the grape vine, they are seriously trying to grow that place. It is a very nice area non the less, but I am not sure if I would want to be near an airport. There are a few other towns around that are still relatively cheap for land/houses and not near an active runway (think Rutland, Holden, Brookfields).

not familiar with that airport but I have been around them all my life to know that the same question you are asking now will be the same question asked by perspective buyer if and when you ever decide to sell that house in the future...

there should be a noise impact zone map that either the town or the airport has. That will show an overview of the area with some form of color coding or rating of the noise that is heard and to include potential "non planned landing" zones aka gravity wins that day if you know what I mean.
