Arches are great at downward force. Think about what force is applied to a shock hoop. It's the opposite, it's force from under it. Strait tubes resist pulling force better. Bends like to keep bending

Removed my camper shell, need to redo the gasket.
Oh, and I hauled some wood in the uncovered bed and dented the rear of my cab! :censored: Dent #3 - I guess a 13yr old truck should have 3 dents or it's not being used as a truck! :D

Steel actually wants to go back to its original shape. When you bend it, it wants to spring back to straight, even after the bend is complete to the desired angle. Sheet steel that was sheared off a roll will eventually roll back up if you let it. Takes a long time though.

At 4 those cold night sweats go away (my truck!! My sweet truck!!!). At 6 you pretty much take a tree through the back sliding glass and go "Eh, just a flesh wound."

Really, after 25+ years of sheet metal fabrication I have yet to see steel "roll back up" after any shearing, do you water it ??....:notsure:

Depends on what you have under the hood. I have the charcoal canisters in the spot most people use so I plan on putting it on top of the existing fuse box.

Hey guys I ordered new quarter windows from Toyota yesterday. Trying to get rid of the mirrored look of them with my 5% tint. I could choose from green blue or gray tint. I ordered the gray ones and was wanting to make sure that is the right ones to get rid of mirrored look

Yeah, this is my problem too. I think I can do a platform on top of the canister for the fuse block and breaker, but that doesn't leave any room for relays. Maybe put the fuse block on the fuse box and the breaker and relays over the charcoal canister.

Searching this thread found tons of people saying they bought one or even showed it on a plate, but very few showed it installed. I am now going through the 1st gen build threads to see if there are any good pics of people installs. Surprisingly, most take a preinstall pic, but not a post.

Within the last month either a new thread (in 1st gen section) or a chain of posts in this thread popped up with images of post installs.

The grey ones are the ones without the mirrored look. You did good.

Also put the blue seas usb outlet in the useless square pocket deal that's between the cup holders.

That's a nice install. I ran across those pics earlier. However, my ham radio HT running APRS lives in there.

I think I will just do the tray over the charcoal canister.

Now where to put a relay mounting plate....hmmmm.
