x2, that's too bad. I'll still be out there, though, so maybe I'll meet up with you. You planning on doing anything outside of Ocotillo? I'm thinking I might just do a big circuit. Camp one night in the Elliot Mine area, another night farther north near Ocotillo or Sandstone or something. My parents and I want to hit up the Calcite mine since we haven't done that before so we might do that saturday or sunday, haven't decided yet.
Anyone else interested in anything like what I'm talking about? We can start a separate thread or just do pm's so we don't clog up this trip thread.

Yeah but if the 4x4 guys get bored they could always head over the Miller Jeep Trail.

not much to eat near Gorman other than Mcdonalds and gas station food. Good food will be at least a 30-45 minute drive towards LA.

What time you guys think you'll be there Friday? I'm thinking of heading out earlier in the day and camping out with you guys then doing some wheeling in the morning with you guys. Gotta head back to town around noon though.

Of course that all depends if my work lets me take the day off.

Sorry. Been traveling and not following this thread good enough apparently. Are you saying a few of you are doing Gorman Friday and Saturday? If so, like I said earlier I got me and two other guys interested on heading out for the day Saturday.
