Vegas BS Thread!

MCM, he's a member on here who has a shop and does installs and fabricating. Not sure on wheels and tires but I'm sure he has some connections or can tell you where to go. I got my wheels and tires online and installed the lift myself.

This is a 4x4 night of food and visiting others.
Bring your off-road vehicle out, park it with all the others and have some hotdogs and make new friends or visit with old friends.
Der Weinerschnitzle is offering 20% discount to us for food that evening.
This is an open to the public event and we are hoping we can start some buzz about Hump N Bump.
So if you know of any off-roaders that don't belong to a club, invite them too. ie; Jeeps, 4x4 trucks, Toyota, Suzuki, FJ's, Bronco's, Blazers, ANY 4X4 VEHICLE........
If you have any printed pictures of your rig from HNB during previous years that you would like to donate to make a few poster boards to display at Wienerschnitzle while we’re there and possibly leave there until HNB.
You can bring them to a meeting or bring them to the event.
Come and show off your stuff!

 

Don't y'all forget, Vegas to Reno is August 15th. It's a Friday since there's a 24hr time limit. All the trucks will be at Aliante Station for tech on Thursday.

That's one hell if a reason to head north and get out of town for a day or two. Starting line is in Beatty.

 

I'll be pitting with JBS motorsports for Lyons and Lonestar! So stoked.

 

Helping with El Rojo Racing in their Toyota. I've never chased V2R and there's a chance we may race it ourselves next year so I figure I should probably participate this year to get an idea of the logistics and layout...

May run up to tech Thursday afternoon to get some radio work and antenna cable work done though.

 

It's just a name, there isn't a true V2R anymore thanks to hippies, population growth, BLM, etc... It's the best they can do.

Don't worry though, you can also spectate the "Henderson 250" later this year out at Jean/Primm... Cause you know, when I think of Henderson, I think of the I15 south of Vegas for sure!!!

This weekend I was driving around and I saw this hill and I told myself hmm let me check this place out. I took my Tacoma on small off-roading trail at Desert Hill it was fun. I know you guys know this place but I just like to share it. here is my vid -

Plans changed a bit. Rugged is going to be at TJ Flores shop today and tomorrow to do radio work for anyone that needs. I'm going to head up directly after work today to have them knock out the couple things I need for my truck so that I'm not in their way at tech. With this change... Not 100% sure I'm going to even head to tech at all honestly. May just skip that craziness.

Careful going out there, that's BLM land and the fines are quite steep if caught, had a friend that got caught up there and got a $1,500 fine

I'm new to the 4x4 world, not tacoma world.

I was born and raised in Vegas, I know there's TONS of off-road trails but which ones am I allowed to go on? Which ones are WORTH exploring, versus just a dirt road that leads to nowhere?

I've been on the caves as above (warm springs/fort apache) but I didn't know it was a 1,500 dollar fine either.

Most notably around Sloan, Spring Mountains, Blue Diamond, and Lake Mead?

Do you guys meet up and go off roading together often?

Whats up fellas! New to the Tacoma 4x4 thing. I've had my first for about 6 months. Done a few things to it. Don't really know anyone in the area. Do you guys have meets? Clubs? Whens the next run? I'm off work for the next week and looking to drive something local if anyone is interested. I've been on a few but went alone which isn't as fun or smart really.
