Alex what gears are you putting in? Sorry if I missed it..

 

I got a rear LSD with 4.10's, and I will be regearing the front to 4.10's when I save up enough

 

I see. Funny. I am trading a computer for front and rear 4:10 gears and the rear carrier. So keep my informed as to what you find out on quotes vs actual install costs. Doesn't look to hard to do with the right equip. But I don't have the right equips. But dad does... 900 miles away from here...

 

Nice! I got two rear 3rds with 4.10's, one with the LSD and one open, for $130!

 

I think the 4:10s will help my 33" a bit around town. And Ihope to be closer to 2000 rpm at 65 mph rather then the 1800 I am at now.

 

My quote for the front to swap gears. I'm supplying bearings and gears too

 

I remember John having a guy down this way that was pretty good. I wonder what he would charge.

Snoopes nephew is a Toyota tech, he installed my ARB and rebuilt another 3rd for me, he really good.

 

Just emailed em. I still think I'm in NTC (I paid the $50 last year at the NTC Rausch takeover)

Alex for $950 you could just order a built diff from ecgs . And swap it out at your house . Seems really really high of a price .

 

I've been watching the How It's Made Dream Car series, anyone else watch that show? Tonight is the Pagani Huayra, last one I caught was the Lambo. These cars have some awesome engineering and design work!

 

Watching the Veyron one now. Awesome how much detail and work goes into these cars.
