He needs the housing that contains the two small wires (sensors). Not just the Electronic sensor that sends the signal.

Seems like there's a company down further on that link you provided that has remanned units for $300.

    Never heard of them though.

Haha I knew you'd chime in. I know you do a lot of wiring on your truck, but I'm going to respectfully disagree with the necessity of using relays for an LED light that runs less than 5 amps with properly sized/oversized wiring.

As far as the circuit breaker, again...not going to worry about it when I'm running wire that can handle 200 amps on a fuse block that will only handle 100 max. If I was running a winch I'd obviously have a breaker on its own seperate circuit. But lights that burn 30 amps total if they're all one (just confirmed total amperage) and are all fused individually is perfectly safe. I sell electrical equipment for boats all day every day and relays are super uncommon on circuits less than 20 amps. Breaker panels are common along with fused distribution panels

With that said, I still plan on adding a breaker. I just haven't had the time or need with such little amperage running through it. Yes, I know that wire could still short between the block and battery. That's the only risk I see without a breaker there.

What do you think is going to happen if the wiring/circuit board for your LED's fuses together to make a complete circuit?

Scoured the junkyard and found a few things. Finally found that cover for the circuit board under my dash. Snagged it off a 97 runner. :D

There's also something else in there I'm eyeballing that I really want...I'm praying it will still be there/in one piece on Sunday when I can get a discount.

Not really sure how that would happen unless it was a mechanical break that caused it. The wiring going out of the fuse box to my lights is protected from the fuses so there is no issue there. The only way for it to fuse together would be if the wiring going into the box shorted out and sent a load larger than 100amps to the box for whatever reason. Which would obviously melt the box. For that, yes, a breaker would prevent it. But I'm still leaning more toward a fuse directly on the battery terminal. Less moving parts to go wrong is better IMO.

And I'm not trying to argue with you guys at all, this is just how I view it. I love to hear others opinions as I know there are people way more knowledgable on electrical work than I am.

I wish, it's a little hard to hide. I'm more afraid someones going to damage it since that's what all the stupid people like to do. "I'm going to throw a rock at the side of this vehicle and destroy it!"

I get a discount for your services?:D

I also got a quote for reupholstering my seats. $950...

Haha it's not because of that. It's because I have a tear on the left side of the drivers seat. The guy can't order just the fabric anymore cause it's too old. I can still get the entire covers from Toyota but it's pricey (not as much as that though) but I was looking at doing different fabric and redoing the whole seats and it came to be $950. I think I'll just get buckets at that price.

Thought about it. Not a big fan of the material though.

What are some good brand for bucket seats?
