No worries man, it can be done after I get back if you are pressed for time.
I'll be gone Saturday morning chasing whitetail, then I get to pour ice water over my girlfriends head in the afternoon. :D Will prolly make a run up 7mile on Sunday myself. So my weekend is fairly well booked. I leave next week, the 5th, for 14 days of camping and hunting. I imagine it doesn't take long to bolt up, so just let me know.

Check out Chinns Lake trail, got a ton of camping around the lake, short trail, but just off I70, take trail ridge road exit just before Idaho Springs. 6 miles up the road, there is a U bend in the road with a big ass house, dirt road on the left, takes you right up to chinns lake.

Dude thanks a lot. That's a lot of helpful information. We'll be staying in Grand Mesa National Park on September 12th and doing the "Long Slough Reservoir Trail" and then on our way to Denver the next day we'll be doing the "Bill Moore Lake" and messing around a little before we get into Denver. I appreciate the help!

Yeah man! If you're free on September 13th meet us there haha! I live in SoCal and have grown up here. I like it cuz I'm close to the beach but I'd really love to experience seasons like there are in Colorado. My dad grew up in Fort Collins and talks about how it's so awesome there. So I'm excited for the trip!! Thanks for all the help.

I'm in. I have a reason to be in Fort Collins anyways.

My buddy might join too if we get his lift installed.

Haha I've never done it either! This is my first time to Colorado even lol. I looked the trail up on traildamage.com and it said that it wasn't too bad. I think it's more of a muddy trail. Look up Bill Moore Lake on trail damage and lemme know what you think.

Cool man. Thanks. From what I've read it seems like a pretty fun easy muddy trail. It'll be cool to check out some awesome scenery for my first time in Colorado!
