I bought a set of the 5SMD lights off eBay, right from a link in another thread (which I'm searching for right now). I replaced both map lights and the dome light from another seller. The dome light works fine, but neither map light works. :(

Any tips? I couldn't find a way to insert them improperly, so I hope its not a fit issue, and both sides seem to be wired the same way so I don't think its a polarity issue (I could be wrong). Ideas?

    Just a few LEDs...
Some LED bulbs are polarity sensitive. Try pulling them out, turning them 180 degrees and reinserting them. Also make sure the thin wire leads are straight and are making contact with the metal clips that hold the bulb. You might have to bend the leads on the LED bulbs a bit to make sure you have good contact. Lastly, try inserting them then pulling them back out about 1/8 of an inch. The wire leads on the bulbs might be a little short which could cause them to lose contact with the leads on the bulbs if they are inserted too far.

I'll give it a shot, thanks.
