I think this was answered on Instagram but just so everyone else knows also...

His coil overs are currently set at around 3.25" of lift over the stock height.
With our long travel kit he is able to get those large 35's out of the fender well and slightly forward for clearance and an aggressive stance.

Curious about all the benefits of going to our long travel kit?

How do you keep the canvas stretched out, and safe from flapping in the wind? How do you secure your canvas to the bottom of the rack, when not rolled up?

I am actually re-doing the way it is currently mounted to a more streamline and effective way — I will post all the details of it when it gets dialed in.

    Currently though...
I have multiple straps pulling it tight from front to rear and vice versa. The sides and secured using existing bolt holes.

When rolled down (I don't do this often) it is just secured using velcro. This is also something I will be eliminating and finding a better way to accomplish.

Out in Montana visiting the All-Pro crew.
I stopped to grab some fast-food and found a nice place to eat it next to the river.

Of course I turned it into a quick spot to take a Truck Selfie also ;)

I ran across BoltLock on Instagram and was immediately SOLD!!

I quickly gave them a call and had some heading my way.

1 key, your ignition key, for all your locks is reason enough to buy them but the quality of these I realized first hand after receiving them is top notch! They didn't just take a good idea, they perfected it!

Lots of great stuff going on here. I'm indecisive about wheels, considering getting the same wheels and having them powder coated anthracite with black rings. Like those Bolt locks, I might have to check out the trailer hit lock.

I was one of the lucky ones to get the NEW Toyo Tires OpenCountry R/T sets right away!

If you havent been following the buzz around these new tires check out their website (direct link here) to learn more and check on sizes for your Tacoma!

These were designed to bridge the gap between the OpenCountry ATII and the OpenCountry M/T.

If you have been following along you know I ran the OpenCountry ATII’s initially and absolutley loved them but wanted something more aggressive as the build progressed.

The OpenCountry M/T’s I have on currently have been amazing as well and these are probably the 7th set I have owned since I have been buying tires. I have had these on every truck I’ve owned. I am a believer.

The reason why I am switching?
Since this is a Overland style build and do alot of highway driving before I turn off to go explore offroad this new OpenCountry R/T sounds like the perfect balance between on road and off! The aggressive pattern mixed with the longer tread life, 45k mile warranty, had me hooked!

Stand by for follow up testing and reports :D

man those tires look good, what was the price for the set if you dont mind me asking? I want to switch from my M/T for the same reason. But I definitely love my M/t Cheap and they have lasted forever

I'll be interested to hear how loud they are and how they ride.. I'm almost needing another set, been thinking of the Cooper ST Maxx's, but the weight part is a negative.

I looked at the specs on the RT's and the smallest size I saw was 285, unless I overlooked something. And they seem heavy too. It'd be cool to go bigger and all, but as much as I drive, that gas is eating up some $.

Hey Sean, how often do you have to retorque your beadlocks? I'm thinking about getting the same wheels.

The 35's I got were a little over $300 ea.
These new R/T tires will have a longer tread life also over the M/T.

Shipping weight on these tires were right over 70lbs. They do have limited sizes right now since they just launched them but I'm sure they will expand that soon. I daily drive mine on 35's (right now the M/T's that weigh right over 80lbs each) and average around 14-15mpg on stock gears. I need to find the time to get it re-geared though to increase that fuel economy a bit. I will save around 40lbs when I swap these onto my truck.

For the first 3,000 miles I probably did every 500 miles (the most critical time). I check it about once a month now or anytime before a long road trip or offroad trip.
