I'm meeting up with a buddy of mine next month who's been in CO all summer long. He's loaded his motor home up with a good assortment of CO IPAs and other goodies to share when we go camping. I can't wait.
I'm also gonna try to get one of the other guys from WI to bring me a case of Zombie Dust when he comes down.

Yeah, I'll enjoy a double ipa occasionally but definitely not my favorite style, or sours either which have become quite popular. I enjoy big beers no matter what time of the year, I'll happily drink a 14% bourbon barrel imperial stout in the middle of summer while everyone else is drinking session ipa and sour fruity beer, that's what AC is for anyway!

I will keep an eye out for it. The local brew shop has a spot on the shelf with a tag for it, but the spot's always empty whenever I stop in.

I was getting dinner to go last night and while waiting for it, I was walking back toward my truck, and happened to look in a shop two doors down. That shop is called The Growler Guys. Unfortunately, I didn't have any of my empty growlers with me. That didn't stop me though, because I bought a new one. The have about 40 beers on tap and I got a growler of Ninkasi Oatis for my road beer.

It is a holiday weekend. Got my start on last night's growler about 9:30 am this morning. It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right?

I'm not an alcoholic, because I don't go to meetings.

I may make a quick beer trip tonight...I want to try something different, but similar to an amber lager that Coors makes "Co native"

Got a 6 pack of that in the fridge now, the little sumpin extra and little sumpin wild are both really good too.
