Does anybody know some good apartments that have a parking garage or covered parking that aren't like 1000 bucks a month? Looking to move in the next couple years. Would like to be along 270 or 141 north of 44 if possible. Trying to minimize the drive to work up near the airport.

    Jim,

Mark Weyers just joined your dealership. He sold me my last two Tacos. Ask him who helped clay bar his car.

I will admit, Pappas is a top notch dealership. If you're in the market, make sure you check them out.

    Yeah.
I have been here 5 years and still know very little outside of the Wildwood area. That said, I had one with a garage for a few months while we were house hunting, but it was out west in Ellisville. It was a 2 bedroom, rent was about $1000. One bedroom with a carport would be less, maybe $800. Closer in and "good" is probably going to be a little more than that. Good luck!

I'm out in the St. Peters/O'Fallon area (~25 mins to the airport), and there are tons of houses out here for rent or RTO. When my wife and I moved to the area, we looked all over for apartments with garages and ended up renting a 3bed/2bath house with a 2 car garage for ~$200 less than a similar apartment, and we didn't have to share walls with anyone :D

    Yeah.
Good advice. I have only lived in a few apartments -- I was always able to find a house to rent for very little difference, if any. More room and privacy. But, no easy access to a pool and the accompanying eye candy. Kinda depends on your priorities.

Excellent point! My wife's enough eye candy for me (and I think she reads my posts) :spy:

I live it a house right now, looking to downsize and get rid of some responsibilities, which is why I was looking at apartments. Tired of the maintenance and upkeep that comes with a house.

    Yeah.
None laying around. The TYC ones at RockAuto are good quality, but you're looking at just under $100.

I went ahead and bought a OEM tail light from a seller on eBay. It wasn't cheap, but less than my local dealership.

I just bought a new '14 TRD O/R from Jim today at Pappas Toyota and would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in the market for a Toyota.

A new 2014 white DCSB TRD Off-Road with towing package and TRD catback exhaust. In a month or so I'm going to add the TRD Supercharger to be installed also at Pappas. I'll throw up some pics when I pick it up Monday. I'm psyched to start my dream truck build.

I've always wondered how big of a difference the supercharger would make.
