Ah, I don't think we've talked about a local fronting the money till today. If someone wants to do it, I'm down.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
I was thinking about going ahead an putting $100 down but Im just too worried about not getting paid back.

I do have PayPal if we decide to front the money ahead of time.

Or there are several more of us in town if someone knows a member personally and would feel more comfortable with sending money to them.

I agree that it's kind of a stretch to have someone put down $100 bucks for everyone on good faith. I have no problem sending the money to you. Is everyone else cool with that?

We can send them a check. I can find out if they're okay with multiple checks or even PayPal.

I'm cool with that too. Just PM your Paypal info, maybe to everyone? I can update the main list as to who has paid and who still needs to if you'd like.

Good news; I work at the same hospital as Dr. Steve Opersteny, the guy who runs the place. I can definitely collect the money and hand it to him.

"The entire park can be rented for exclusive use by a club or group for $200.00 per 24 hr period. For the $200.00, a group gets exclusive use of the club house and trail system. In addition, the group or club may have an unlimited number of members enter the park. There is also a $100 deposit due before or at the time of groups arrival that will be refunded upon departure provided the facilities are left like they were found."

So, is it $200 to reserve the place an additional $100 deposit? Since you can put the deposit in upon arrival it's probably no big deal...all 20 visitors chip in $5 and gets them back at the end of the visit.

    once we figure out exactly how much everone needs to pay the paypal address is;

emailsforkevin(@)gmail.com ; remove the parenthesis and make sure you include your TW username.

That's correct except we only need to pay $100 ahead of time to hold the weekend. We can pay the other $200 when we get there, $100 of which is refunded when we don't trash the clubhouse.

How about we do this; let me know if it's acceptable to you guys (it's the best I could come up with while at work):

Based on the 20 attendees on the official list-

$15/person Paypal if possible. If you can't do Paypal send me $15 via mail. I kinda want to get the money thing out of the way before the meet so it's one less thing to worry about.

Once the money is collected I'll go ahead and contact the guy, get the place reserved, and give him the deposit, $200 + 100 deposit = $300 total.

And when the meet is over the deposit will be returned to you guys.

$15 each should be about right. That will cover the entire weekend for you if everyone pays and shows.

Now paying only covers getting the ranch for 24 hours right? not the whole weekend. If we have to all pay in advance we should go ahead and set the times from when to when that we will rent it so then people will know when we need to show up. :) Plus what if we have to leave before we get the deposit back from the owner?

Good point; I'll try to contact the owner tomorrow and figure out what we can do.

If everyone chips in their $15 they'll be getting their deposit back before they leave, don't worry.
