Got kicked out of a store...venting

today i was shopping at my local food lion, they have this dick manager who is just rude to customers, all of them. i was shopping today, and aquired about 150 dollars in groceries, and found an old friend that got a job there, while she was working i talked a little, and she kept working, the manager came around the corner and told me to leave and that he better not see my ass in there again or that the employee will be sent home, i have also in the past observed him STEALING food from the deli and eating it (the employees there can aswell attest to this) i talked to a few employees after they got off and they aswell want me to file a complaint in hopes he gets fired, i recorded the date, time, what occurred and my following actions and have called customer relations and left a voice mail, and will call back tomorrow during business hours...i responded calmly and politely to his actions

btw the address is 620 red banks road greenville nc 27858, if anyone in the area shops there i reccomend you stop, food lions budget is tight right now and they dont want to lose any more money

and am i handleing this appropriately, this gentleman really needs to leave retail industry

He maybe a dick and the part about him stealing is hear-say. It's probably true but it's tough to prove.

Before you become the "hero" to all the Food Lion Employees and try to David and Goliath him, are you ready to pay his bills and keep his family fed,clothed and a roof over their heads?

Bring up your complaint and your complaint ONLY!!! If it's so bad that the employees want him gone, let them do the heavy work. It can't be all that bad because he'd be gone a long time ago. If they don't have the balls to do it themselves, it either isn't all that bad or they don't want to drop the dime and get themselves fired.

Remember, what goes around, comes around. Find another store.

Wouldn't you be pissed if you got the boot because someone didn't like you and started stories?

I'm in no way defending him or his alleged actions.

thats the whole story, i was shopping and talking while she was stocking the shelves.

this manager has in the past told me "hes keeping his eye on me" and "i better watch what i do hes keeping a close watch on me"


i dont lie cheat or steal and was speaking with an old aqquaintance, if he felt i was inpedeing her ability to work i believe he should have calmly told me i need to hurry my shopping or tell her to wrap up the convo rather than yelling and cursing just my .02
