I've had mine almost a year now and I just enjoy driving it whenever I can. The bumpy ride, the aawesome way it look. I've owned many vehicles and as far as fun factor thisoone tops the list. More so than my old Honda s2000...or supra. Now I may sound over realistic here regarding certain subjects. I know I'm comparing a truck to sports cars andiit'sbbasically apples to oranges in terms of vehicle types. I'm just saying... I enjoy driving my Tacoma. Anyone else feel the same way?

I love driving my tacoma as it fits my lifestyle. I have always liked things that are jack of all trades and masters of none, and doing more with less.... the tacoma fits the bill 100% to the T.

Also i could never drive a car.... id probably rip bumpers off on curbs and scratch all 4 rims up in the mater of a week.

the less I drive my tacoma, the more I appreciate driving it when I am behind the wheel. Hard to say how much fun it is, cause I do use it for work sometimes and other times when stuff is breaking or the truck is making noises.

Honestly, the fun has wore off. After driving my '11 for the last three years and my 07 before that, the Tacoma no longer excites me. Instead, I see a truck that is grossly outdated, slow and just a so-so truck now. Yeah, it gets the job done but I find myself more and more everyday looking to trade it. Let the shit storm start. :crapstorm:

I bought my taco for utility. It can be fun on the almost rare occasion i go offroad. My Stang is much more fun on the street.

yeah, I like driving a full size ford super duty for work compared to my tacoma, but drive my frontier almost every day…so hopping in my taco is either smaller with less power…or a bigger truck with more power. If you had another car or a bike that you mainly use, the fun factor lasts a bit longer in a taco.

when I bought mine, I had several other trucks to have fun with. My 05 is like my 02…get it, have fun, build it, break it, fix it, have fun, break more stuff, get tired of it, get something else…cycle continues, but I don't plan on getting rid of this tacoma.

Tons of fun for me. It's all what you make of it and expect of it.

Aw I was expecting more people to feel the way I do. I guess because this is the only truck I really owned. I used to have an 03 escalade but I'd say the suspension was too refined, no where near as exciting as the Tacoma.

When I first bought my Tacoma in 07, I loved it. I had came from a first gen Tacoma which was a good truck but had a ton of miles and was ready for something else. So, I drove a lot of different trucks, both small and large and the Taco was a great fit. It was an access cab sport. When I bought my '11, the only reason I got it was I needed a double cab. My wife was pregnant and a car seat is hell in the back seat. But the issue I have is a '15 is the exact same truck a '05 is. Yeah, a few different option packages, colors and small things like that but the truck is outdated. I've been looking and driving others and it's sad how far Toyota has fallen behind in terms of build. Even with the Tundra. Now, if Toyota would come out with something that would excite me, I would definitely look at it. But knowing how they dropped the ball with the redesigned Tundra, I have very little hope. Like others have said, the beauty is in the eye of the holder and it all depends on what you expect out of your truck. Ill say this. Is the Tacoma a good truck? Yes, but right now there are better options.

On road - 3/10. Bad standard tranny, body lean, loud interior, lacking power.
Offroad - 9/10. Great clearance, comfortable ride, unstoppable.

I wouldn't characterize driving my Tacoma as 'fun' but enjoyable. Anytime I want comfortable, smooth, quiet, powerful (to me), I take the Tacoma. But for fun, I take the TJ. It fits anywhere, the top comes off, and the dogs love to sit in the back...

Hmmm....for the last 7.5 years and for 5 years when I owned my 96.

    No...I don't like it at all. :D

And I'm soooo happy that Toyota can't seem to tell us when the 3rd gens are coming out. Nope...not looking forward to that. :p

    Hey, I gave it a 12...and on a scale of 1-10, that's pretty good.

I love driving mines. I drive it just to drive it sometimes. Waste gas I know, but I enjoy just cruising whenever I can.
